First Visit Guide to My Massage Clinic
Your first visit should feel simple. This page shows what to expect — clearly, step by step, without surprises.
Arrival for Your Appointment
Location
- Address: 235 Chaparral Valley Way SE, Calgary, AB T2X 0X3
- View complete contact details or read more about my clinic.
- Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to complete the initial health paperwork.
- If you are late, your appointment time may be shortened to protect subsequent bookings.
Please check the street view and the appearance of the house before your visit, so you can easily recognize the location. Make sure not to park in the wrong driveways — use only the designated parking area.
Upon Arrival
- Please park on my driveway, pulling closer to one of its sides (see picture).
- After that, please wait — I’ll meet you right away. If I am with another client, just text me at 403-616-1601 with the word “Here” and I’ll come out to greet you shortly.
- You can also walk to the front door and ring the doorbell.
Take one more look at the picture — this is my house. Make sure you spot the house number “235” so you know you’re in the right place. Parking on the wrong driveway creates problems for my neighbors, so please be mindful when you arrive.
In the Treatment Room
The Whole Process
- I will begin by asking you a few health questions. Please feel comfortable sharing the reason for your visit and any focus areas.
- After we've gone through the questions, I'll show you around and explain exactly what to do and where to go.
- Once you’re in the changing room alone, please undress to your comfort level, go and lie face down on the table.
- You can undress completely or leave your underwear on — it is entirely your choice. I practice professional draping techniques to ensure your privacy is respected at all times.
- Please notify me when you are safely on the table and ready to begin.
- At the end of the session, I will leave the room to give you time to get dressed, followed by a brief chat regarding guidelines, exercises, or home care tips.
During your session, you are always encouraged to:
- Get comfortable, relax, or sleep if you wish.
- Speak up at any time to ask questions or share concerns.
- Guide the session by requesting adjustments to pressure, temperature, or technique.
- End the bodywork immediately if you feel uncomfortable for any reason.
Tell Me What You Need
Whether you are seeking deep tissue therapeutic massage for chronic pain management or a relaxation session for stress relief, open communication helps me customize your experience. Please share your specific health goals and preferences before we begin. Your feedback ensures that every session at my treatment space is tailored, highly effective, and completely aligned with your body's unique needs.
Payment
The most simple and convenient way to pay is Interac e-Transfer. I highly recommend using this secure service. If you are unfamiliar with how to send one, please review the resources below:
I accept cash as well.
I also take most major credit cards using the Square terminal (due to credit card processing fees, a small CA$1–2 surcharge applies in this case).
Insurance & Direct Billing
I offer direct billing to select health insurance companies across Alberta, and all major providers accept claims issued under my license. If you prefer to submit the claim yourself, I will provide an official receipt containing all necessary professional credentials.
If you prefer a quick summary, here’s a brief snapshot of me and my treatment space…
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Booking
- Clients are seen by appointment only. I recommend booking at least 6 hours in advance so I can prepare the room and prevent scheduling conflicts.
- There are several ways to book a massage. You can reach out by phone, fill out our web contact form, or use our direct online booking platform.
- If you need a last-minute appointment (under an hour), please text me directly. I cannot guarantee availability, but I will accommodate you if a slot is open.
Cancellation and No-Shows
- Kindly provide at least 6 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your visit.
- In case you feel unwell, you may cancel your visit at any time without any cancellation fees or consequences. Your health and safety come first.
- Missing your very first appointment without any notice impacts the schedule and limits other clients from booking that time. In instances of repeated short-notice cancellations, an advance deposit may be required to secure future bookings.
Right Before Your Visit
Before coming to the clinic, please do the following:
- Fill out the online Intake Form — this will save us a lot of time during your visit.
- Take a few minutes to read through this guide so you know what to expect.
- Think about your main goals for the session. What do you want to work on the most? What kind of result are you hoping for? I will ask you this question, and your clear answer helps me provide much better work.
